Our Founder
Lucila Puentes-Stewart is the founder and president of Aguilas International Technical Institute. Affectionately known by her students and loved ones as “Ms. Lucy,” Lucila started the school because she wanted more for herself and the other students looking for success. As a Cuban-native, Lucila saw the gaps in America’s health education system when it came to training Spanish-speaking students. Her solution: to create a bilingual medical training academy that truly provided a quality and educational experience. More than 15 years later, Aguilas International Technical Institute has truly become a place where bright futures can truly take flight.
