Nursing Assistants are on the front lines of providing basic care to patients in a variety of health care facilities, with responsibilities ranging from assisting with personal daily needs such as bathing and exercising to monitoring vital signs and dietary restrictions. All job requirements tend to be non-invasive procedures and revolve around daily routines that patients may not be able to complete on their own. Working under the supervision of licensed nurses, nursing assistants provide personal, professional assistance, ensuring patients are treated with dignity and respect and while receiving necessary medical care.

The Nursing Assistant Exam Prep course is a two-week class designed to prepare students in all the necessary skills needed to pass the Florida Certified Nursing Assistant Exam. These skills include, but are not limited to, feeding, perineal care, skin care, toileting, grooming, and dressing. In the state of Florida, State licensure is achieved after successfully passing the Florida Board of Nursing CNA exam. Test consist of both theory and practical skills, and in the state of Florida it is provided in both English and Spanish.
