Together, We Create Opportunity: AITI’s Ribbon Cutting Celebrates Community and Partnership
A meaningful future in healthcare takes more than a classroom. It takes educators who believe in their students, employers willing to nurture new talent, and a community that helps people move forward.
On October 21, 2026, Aguilas International Technical Institute celebrated the official ribbon cutting of our new campus at 225 W Busch Blvd in Tampa. With the campus already serving students, the celebration marked an opportunity to recognize this milestone alongside our guests, team, and community partners.
It was also a chance to look ahead: how can we work together to create more opportunities for the people who will help care for our community?

A celebration of the people behind the mission
Throughout the day, guests toured the campus, connected with our team, and shared in the excitement of this chapter in AITI’s story.
Our recap captures some of those moments and the sense of community that made the celebration meaningful.
Behind the ribbon cutting is a mission that continues every day: helping students develop skills and confidence through bilingual healthcare career education, hands-on learning, and personal support.
That mission is rooted in our founder’s story and the values that guide AITI. Lucy Stewart recognized the need for an educational environment where Spanish-speaking students could feel understood and supported as they pursued their goals.
Today, we invite employers and community organizations to help carry that mission forward.

Connecting education with opportunities beyond the classroom
For a student, a professional connection can make the next step feel possible. For an employer, a relationship with a local school can create opportunities to meet emerging talent and contribute to their preparation.
AITI offers training in fields including Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, and Home Health Aide.
We welcome conversations with organizations interested in connecting these areas of education with practical experience, employment opportunities, and student support.
Whether you represent a healthcare practice, pharmacy, home care agency, nonprofit, or community organization, there may be a meaningful way for us to work together.

How your organization can get involved
Offer internships or externships
Help students connect classroom learning with professional experience.
We welcome conversations with potential host organizations about supervised learning opportunities that align with program requirements and the organization’s capacity. Together, we can explore whether there is a fit and what that collaboration could involve.
Connect with our graduates
If your organization is looking to hire, we would love to learn about your team’s needs and explore ways to connect you with graduates whose training aligns with the roles you are seeking to fill.
A partnership can begin with a conversation about your workplace, your expectations, and the skills you value.
Bring community resources to our students
Support outside the classroom can make a meaningful difference in a student’s educational journey.
We invite community organizations to share resources, services, and ideas that could help our students navigate challenges and stay connected to their goals.
If your organization serves the Tampa Bay community, let’s explore where your mission and ours meet.
